Knights & Knaves Alehouse

Is there some errata somewhere that defines the damage caused by a giant slug's acid spit? The MM goes into excruciating detail on how to calcluate the To Hit probabilities, but neither the MM, the DMG appendix E, nor Supplement 1 Greyhawk (and its errata) offer any guidance.

I did some digging in Sage Advice and the Dragon Archive, but didn't find anything either. I could go look in Tome of Horrors, but haven't relocated my copy (I've been shuffling books and shelving around this summer).

So, does anyone know the scoop on what the damage should be?

The Giant Slug Monster Card lists it as 4d8.
