Yes...I know. Players do the damned things.
How would you deal with this? A PC guzzling Oil of Slipperiness?

His liver, lungs, and kidneys make an exit, left. Cue laughter.

Wow! Explosive runs?

If it digested and got into the blood stream, could make for some interesting gaming (I wouldn't make it deadly, or it would qualify as a poison, nor would I make it particularly beneficial as the potion is not drunk normally (so I'd suspect either no effect, something odd (which might be helpful depending) or something negative).

This. No other effect. You might consider it to cure any parasitic infections of the gastrointestinal tract.

any rations consumed would pass through immediately, undigested.

Well, I guess its time for some potty humor then.
Thank goodness it isn't a particularly serious module we're playing

Years ago I probably would have played the slippery GI tract way for maximum humor - now I would just have the offending character become violently ill and throw the oil back up, ruining it in the process.

More or less the same, only it would pass right through and come out the other end.
Explosive runs, indeed. Axe wins the interwwwebz today.

Yeah, we went with Axe's suggestion. It's turning out to be a pretty slapstick module anyway.
Here's how the player described the results for those of you that are interested:
NJWilliam wrote:Theket's eyes open wider and wider and wider, a pained look overcomes his face as his ridiculous eyes make him look like a half-orc bug.
He pushes the gourd of blue glow grog into Ull's hands, and with his hands now freed he pulls down his breeches as he urgently looks about and then dashes a few yards to the left (to the extent he can dash with his breeches around his knees), turns, and squats.
His pained expression subsides as the sounds of exploding bowels echos through the pipe.
He's shouting something again and again, whatever he is trying to say is completely drowned by the bellowing bursts from his half-orc nether region, and the only evidence of his shouting is his mouth and lips moving.
Each time Theket opens his mouth to shout, he loses control of his bowels yet again.
This continues for an impressively long time, even by half-orc standards.
Finally, hands leaning heavily on his knees, he looks up and says, "Don't drink dat, . . . . is potion of stinking cloud."

Heh! Classic stuff. We had a half-orc who got gastro from a rat bite in T1's moathouse. Made a right mess of Canon Terjon's library.

If you drink it and are subsequently devoured by a purple worm, you would immediately be passed by the creature completely intact without having to try to cut your way out. Malodorous, but what a ride!

I'd say if you were coated on the outside you might pass threw any creature in a round or two (so a giant toad as well) either regurgitated out the mouth, or part of a runny mess on the other end. If you drink it, I'd think it wouldn't effect the monster until you've been digested and the oil is exposed. Of course, theres always the question of: does the stomach acid destroy the oil? I'd say no, but could see a DM disagreeing (perhaps making the magic save the way a dragons breath can destroy a potion).
