Guy beat me to it! :(

Code: Select all

1 limb lost....system shock survival check, per PHB, p. 12a.
2 limbs lost... " " " " at -20% penalty
3 limbs lost... " " " " at -40% penalty
4 limbs lost... " " " " at -60% penalty
Thus a FM with CON 8 would be auto-dead, while one with CON 18 would have a 39% chance to survive...but what kind of life would he have if there was no cleric to heal him or no other way to regenerate? If you have a steampunkish campaign you could have a mad tinker/wizard make some mechanical limbs for the poor bloke.

Start by telling the PC that sword of sharpness just chopped off his dick and then insist he can only speak to the DM in a lisp.

Well, if he had a few henchmen, he could have them tote him around while he barked orders.

Hell, he might even be light enough to pull a Chewie/C-3PO.

Add a magical helm or something with some kind of cool verbally-activated abilities and he'd be in business.
