Wandering encounter/monster tables for outdoors?

Hi all,

I am looking for any suggestions for wandering monster/encounter tables for outdoor adventuring. During a recent session, the players had a half day walk through grassland that transitioned into marshy/swamp terrain. I used the list from MMII (temperate swamp) but since it was so extensive and not really numbered, I was hoping for a link to something quick I could print out for my next session...

Go HERE and choose OSRIC for the data type. Then you can select a terrain. Since it is OSRIC, it does not have monsters for books like the Fiend Folio or Monster Manual II...but it might do what you want.

If you want to use the "Data File" tools on the site, I do have an extensive AD&D data file with all the stuff from the core rules...plus the FF, MM2, & UA. This information can be used in the bottom left section called "Your Tools" and allow you to create wandering monster tables with all three of the AD&D monster books based off terrain.

Or check out my CDD4: Encounters netbook with integrated MM, FF, MM2 examples, tables and rules for constructing your own encounter tables.

Thank you for all the suggestions. I definitely will check these out before I head to Winter War to DM 'Barrowmaze'.
