Exceptional Strength
Can someone tell me if a rule exists that only fighter-types are allowed to have exceptional strength? Thank you!

Bear in mind that rangers and paladins are fighter-types, mind.

We are all working from distant memory in our recent discussions of Ad&d, so that's why I asked. Things are a bit fuzzy at the best of times anyway
