Thanks guys. It looks like I'm in, just need to sort through last-minute logisitics (driving with Jon vs. flying, etc.). Donovan's got room for me in his room, so I'm covered there (need to work through departure dates, though, Donovan: I had originally be planning to stay through Monday morning).

Now, I apparently need to figure out what I'm running besides Aliens and Castle Greyhawk, and what I'm playing....

If the Castle Greyhawk on Thursday is in the evening, I want it! :) You think this might be on site only?

Chris may have to move the times around, perhaps, given their last minute submissions, but here's what I submitted:

Event Title: grodog's Castle Greyhawk
Event ID: 112602
DM Name: Allan Grohe
Game Type: Role-Playing Game
Game System: AD&D (First Edition)
Day: Thursday
Start Time: Noon
Duration: 6 hours
Experience: Expert
Maximum Players: 10

Description: Explore grodog's version of Castle Greyhawk: will you seek Kuroth's Quill in the Halls of the Iron Golems, or plumb the depths of the Waterworks seeking The Black Reservoir? Will you attempt the Iounic Caverns to recover the Ring of Gaxx, or assault the Heretical Temple of Wee Jas? Or delve elsewhere? You decide! Bring your graph paper, dice, and a healthy dose of paranoid courage! 6th-10th level pregen PCs will be provided. == Note to Chris: I have 10-12 players (I bring 12 pregen PCs to try to accommodate overflow), so I'll need two long tables, two short tables (endcaps), and ~14 chairs.

Event Title: Aliens: Rescue Newt
Event ID: 214501
DM Name: Allan Grohe
Game Type: Miniature / War Game
Game System: Other
Day: Friday
Start Time: 2:00pm
Duration: 4.5 hours
Experience: Beginner
Maximum Players: 15

Description: While the Colonial Marines have been searching Hadley's Hope, Newt was captured by the Aliens! Ripley's leading Hicks, Apone, Vasquez, Hudson, and the rest of crew to find and rescue her! "Aliens: This Time It's War!" is a fast-paced and easy-to-learn miniatures war game from Leading Edge Games. Bring your own d10s and Pulse Rifles! == Note to Chris: The game accommodates up to 15 players, so I'll need two long tables, two short tables (endcaps), and 17 chairs (2 for me). It'll also take me 30-60 minutes to set up, so we should set the start time for the players at 3pm.

Event Title: Aliens: Hunt the Queen
Event ID: 314501
DM Name: Allan Grohe
Game Type: Miniature / War Game
Game System: Other
Day: Saturday
Start Time: 2:00pm
Duration: 4.5 hours
Experience: Beginner
Maximum Players: 15

Description: The Colonial Marines are going on a bug hunt!: Ripley's leading Hicks, Apone, Vasquez, Hudson, and the rest of crew to find the Alien Queen and put her down!

DM Name: Allan Grohe
Game Type: Role-Playing Game
Game System: AD&D (First Edition)
Day: Sunday
Start Time: 8:00am

Hmmm. I really want to play Greyhawk but I'm DMing Thursday at the same time.
Would you mind if my compatriots and I played Sunday but left early to catch our flights?

That's totally fine, Keith: no worries on that front. I'm sure I can find some interesting ways for your PCs to die off while you're packing your dice up :D

Sadly, I will have to miss the Greyhawk sessions. I arrive too late on Thursday and leave too soon on Sunday. I might show up around 2-3pm just to say hello though. :)

Despair not, WSmith.. a few beers may be enough to bribe grodog into running an off-the-grid delve into the Castle late one evening. :)

Separately, last year I left early each morning (~630AM) to have breakfast in town. This year the lodge's restaurant should be open (they were renovating last year), but I may still use breakfast as a chance to sneak off premises for a few minutes (breath of fresh air). Anyone who wants to join me is welcome, so long as there's room in the rental. If we don't have room, the last two guys can fight to the death over seating. Good way to start the day.

Thankfully the lodge has a free shuttle service (well, he takes donations) that we can use in the evenings so that no one drinks and drives if they decide to go out for dinner.

I intentionally left my evenings open for pickup games: I'm sure we can work something out :D

I intentionally left my evenings open, too, for just this sort of thing! :D

Yup, breakfasts are pretty important - need to maintain yer energy level to make it with the long days and short nights. I try to never skip breakfast at gaming cons.
