Personally, I always wanted to see Mary stewart's 4 Merlin/Arthur books made into a miniseries or theatrical films. That would be The Crystal Caves, The Hollow Hills, The Last Enchantment, and The Wicked Day. I've also really enjoyed The Wicked Day because it makes Mordred more empathetic to me, a tragic anti-Hero driven by Fate to "the Wicked Day." Not sympathetic or likable mind you, but understandable and logical, as a good villain should be presented.
