My sarcasm detector must be broken.
Probably I'm just being unclear. What I meant was that the only clone I'm aware of looking to be explicitly non-Gygaxian was LotFP. In any case I was just getting taken in by a troll, so the hell with it.
Read my blog, or the torchbearer gets it! http://henchmanabuse.blogspot.com

All good. No hard feelings.
Internets is serious business.
The DUNGEON MASTERS GUIDE City of Brass cover is good and bad at the same time. While its very representational of a high level adventure, it sends a clear message to the dumb: Satan is going to cornhole Miss USA with a big red member and theres nothing science or the military can do about it. - Gene Weigel

"Yes, but apart from that, Mrs. Lincoln, how did you like the play?"

Psalm 73:26

"Knowledge, logic, reason, and common sense serve better than a dozen rule books."
-- E. Gary Gygax

From the 1st edition PHB, p.8:
"Rules not understood should have appropriate questions directed to the publisher; disputes with the Dungeon Master are another matter entirely. THE REFEREE IS THE FINAL ARBITER OF ALL AFFAIRS OF HIS OR HER CAMPAIGN."
