Wheggi -- Yeah, Riker is checking her out, too, but he's got his phaser set on stun. That puzzle is from 1973. I found it in my grandfather's attic 5 or 6 years ago. Ahh, yes, 70s Playmates were awesome, eh? No photoshopping. Just real girls on film. Like Duran, Duran. I digress.

The DUNGEON MASTERS GUIDE City of Brass cover is good and bad at the same time. While its very representational of a high level adventure, it sends a clear message to the dumb: Satan is going to cornhole Miss USA with a big red member and theres nothing science or the military can do about it. - Gene Weigel

I bought some RuneQuest stuff recently - RQ2 (1980 box), the RQ3 (1984 box) and Cults of Prax/Terror. The RQ3 box came with some dice, including a couple 0-9 d20s. Pretty cool.

Heh, looking at the pic before reading the caption I was like "those look just like the dice out of my RuneQuest set!"

This is just a small selection of my dice collection. Like everyone else, I have a crap-load of 'em; plastic, hand-made terra cotta, and giant metal. But those shown here are my originals. I've had these babies since...[thinking]...1978. The clear ones were a Christmas present from my brother who was killed a few years back by a hit-and-run (Old Santa Susanna Road at Topanga Cyn for those who know the Valley in So. Cal.). The SOB drilled out holes in a couple ratty 2x4's, sandwiched the dice in between, then glued, screwed, and nailed the boards together. When I finally managed to pry the boards apart, the die went sailing across my dad's garage. Took me hours to locate them after that. The angled d6's in the front were commandeered from my maternal grandfather's games. I thought the old bone dice looked cooler than my hokey plastic ones. That old chewed up white d20 was abducted by my gold lab circa 1980. Had my hand halfway down her throat to get it back.

I painted the ceramic mage's hat in the background to hold them in.

Yes, I have lots of dice. But this small set is very special, very personal, and always adorns my game table when I get a chance to play at the table.

Dice with significance are the best. :)

P.S. I have been meaning to get some bone dice for a while. Something cool about rolling with bones!

I have the same black armory set, with the teeny d4.

Had these on my shelf, unpainted. Thought I'd go with Constructicon green and purple. Not the best photo but you get the idea.
