Oh wow, thanks one and all! Not the best of birthdays simply because I'm out of town on business, but a milestone nonetheless and one made much better by your kind words.

It's times like this - when I'm sitting in a hotel in the middle of farmland, missing my family and home - that the true charcater of our little community comes out. You guys just made my birthday great, and the fact that I'm surrounded by so many other old farts makes me feel a little younger. :P (Foster and Matthew excluded of course: they're still kids by comparison!)

Thanks again guys: you're the best.

- Wheggi

Oh, and to answer Kellri's question: when you become a pimp of my level you build a whorehouse and attract 2-8 "pimplings" who help keep the enormous stable in-line. You also get an extra +2 damage with your pimp hand and the ability to create your own magical bling: pimp canes, pimp chalaces, 'grizills' and the like. Unfortunately I won't attract my pimp ride (purple Caddie with zebra stripe interior and gold spoke rims) for another couple levels.

Welcome aboard Wheggi! I board the 40 train this past April :D
I want to hear what you did in the dungeon, not the voting booth. Politics and rules minutia both bore me in my opinion.

I knew there was a reason I liked it here...

You all make me feel so young.

Are we really going to get into a geriatric pissin' contest?

Let's put it like this. I was in 2nd grade when Star Trek aired new. Dem's wuz back in da days when you had only ONE TV set in a blue-collar, middle-class home (usually), and I didn't always get to watch Trek, cause, well, you know, my parents had their shows they wanted to watch. Believe it or not, when you're only 7 years old, even the horrible episodes **SPOCK'S BRAIN** are actually pretty cool.

My hunch is that you gotta get to DF before you find anyone older'n dat. :P

I enjoyed hitting both 40 & 45. 50? Not so much. You know, you won't be 48 forever, so enjoy it while you can.
