I live just south of Selma, on O'Connor and 35. Well, not ON it, but near it. We play over at the Dragon's Lair store on Fredericksburg Rd.
Just an addendum: if any of you guys are ever in San Antonio, feel free to stop by a game.

This is Allan (grodog) running us through his Castle Greyhawk. I'm the guy in the hat, between grodog and Paul Jaquays. That's Flambeaux in the lower right corner. Mythmere is sitting on the other side of Paul, but got cut out of the picture.
Image

Another shot from the same game. Still no Mythmere...
Image

Aha! Here's Mythmere. That's him with his hand up, in the upper right. He's running Spire of Iron & Crystal, here. We also have a great shot of the back of Dennis Sustare's head (you can see his name on the t-shirt).
Image

Another shot of Mythmere's game (better shot of Dennis, there, too). Wonder what Matt is thinking?
Image

A shot of Tim Kask's Sat. night game (that would be the one where the PCs triumphed, rather than the TPK...). I'm to Kask's left, and grodog to my left.
Image

Another shot of Tim's Sat. night game.
Image

Another shot of Mythmere running his game. He's happy, so I guess he just laid the smack down on somebody. (Hard to see, but note the Swords & Wizardry t-shit.)
Image

Here's a shot of John Hershberger (tacojohn) hanging out over by the table of raffle swag.
Image

This one is RJK's Fri. night game. That's Lance Hawvermale in the striped shirt. Grodog, again, standing out in the tie-dye. I'm on grodog's left, barely visible in the shot. :)
Image

Here's a better shot of Flambeaux, playing in RJK's Sat. night game. Note the OSRIC t-shirt.

Looks like it was a blast! And now I know what y'all look like . . . I have to admit that I thought Matt looked much different, more like tacojohn, or my accountant.

No shit Wheggi, if Myth grew out his hair I could see him robbing diamond minds in S. Africa, picture him in Peter Fonda's role from this classic 70s action flick. It could work. Some lawyer.

Me thinks I might need an avatar, lest I look like the Invisible Man (even with a tie dye on!).

The tie-dye was pretty sweet. Next time around have a shirt with some Roger Dean art on it and you'll be elevated to 'legendary' status.

Yeah Myth/Matt looks nothing like what I expected him to look like. PJ on the other hand I had seen his real life cigar photo so he was no surprise. So lets see now I know what PJ, Myth, P&P, Foster, Wheggi, DD, Semaj, Flam, Dungeon Dork, Grodog, Francisca, all look like. BPOM, Axe, Ska, RA, RP, Stranger, etc. haven't a clue about there appearance (besides Stranger's tattoo).

It looks like a cool con, I might have to try and drag my Florida butt up there next year, especially if the west coast contingent is going to make an appearance. :D
I want to hear what you did in the dungeon, not the voting booth. Politics and rules minutia both bore me in my opinion.

I had a Yes tie dye with me, but since I had new Ts for S&W and for the con itself, I ended up wearing them :D :D

That would be great, Sean! Perhaps we consider holding a "mega-dungeon theorists" seminar/panel and/or design a game specially crafted to beat the theorists down (including perhaps Rob and by Paul Jaquays in the mix?): maybe Trent could DM? :D

Thoughts?

Y'know, I've been doing some research (yeah, good timing doing it the week after the con  ) and this is actually embarrassingly feasible. Bedford, TX is right by DFW airport, meaning at worst a short cab-ride (and more likely I could just call someone at the con and have them shoot over and pick me up). DFW and LAX have tons of direct flights back and forth, running about 3 hours and costing around $300, so I could fly out of LA on Friday morning, arrive in TX by noon, in time for afternoon kibbitzing before the evening session, play all day Saturday, kibbitz some more on Sunday morning, have lunch, fly back to LA in the afternoon, and be home early evening and back to work on Monday. One day off work, 2 nights in a hotel (paying 1/2 with a roommate -- I'm not sharing a bed with any of you, but I'm more than happy to share a room), no rental car, plus the time of year means I could pay for the whole thing out of my tax refund and probably not even notice the money being gone. Shame I didn't run these numbers a month ago...

You and I both. I'd be more than willing to go along, and I'm sure my wife would be more than happy to give us a ride to LAX, meaning no parking fee either.

I guess I should start planning now!

If we wanted to add a touch more to it, would be to have Melan and Ev (if he couldn't be persuaded to attend) possibly video confrence in for this type of event. I would also be glad to donate any of my maps for this event (especially if Foster wants to stock it, I suck at dungeon stocking).
