I'm inspired.

I'm definately going to sit down tomorrow (after my final) and let my imagination leak all over some paper.

Yesterday the kiddo told me about a nice goblin who said hi to Bilbo and then went to go take a nap.

There was an excellent episode of Dexter's Lab based on a story that was made up and recited by a little kid. One of my favourites.

So you're all sitting in the tavern, and this goblin staggers in...(no, not a joke...and there are no poodles or salami in sight). The place goes dead quiet for a second, and then several people stand up in surprise and alarm. The goblin appears out of it, in some kind of daze. He glances at you with glassy, wild eyes as he passes, heading straight for the fire, and mumbles "Hi," in common. A few second later, he shudders and sits down on the floor, then curls into a fetal ball and starts to snore...

Sounds like a great potential hook if I've ever heard one!

My son submitted some spells his magic user wants to research. Since it's for OD&D, I put the thread in the OD&D Homebrew section. Here's a link to the post
