DF down?

You can talk about "almost" anything here.

Can't get on this morning. :?
For me reading fora is the equivalent of reading the newspaper in the morning. No offense to K&K, without DF my morning is not as good.
I guess I'll have to lurk here more. :D

It's spreading. Grognard's Tavern is down now, too. :(

And I can't seem to get to the OD&D boards...

The problem with the GT is probably a Proboards problem -- Finarvyn's "OD&D Discussion" site, which is also a Proboards site, is also down (and now that I check it looks like ScottyG's "Doomsday Games" proboards site, Gene Weigel's proboards site and the old proboards version of the K&K Alehouse are too).

Proboards and OD&D Discussion seem to be back up now.

HEY! The Wayfarer's Inn is also still online! Though it's pretty quiet place most of the time....

Just tried to access DF and still no dice.
You can't have S-L-A-U-G-H-T-E-R without L-A-U-G-H-T-E-R.

Who is the sock puppet of which we speak?
Kinda curious about that myself.

See the last few pages of this thread and draw your own conclusions.

Do you mean Jared Synn? He's not a sock puppet exactly, he's just a volunteer on the project.

I just recently re-registered at the undermountain-dot-org boards. It took an email request from me to get in, because they're having major spam attacks.

EGG's passing shook Hal up a bit and he's hoping to bury all the axes he can manage. Y'know, one of those kumbaya moments.

Not that it matters. :P I just wanted to help clear the image of what's what.

What?

Exactly.

I am not a messenger of peace!

I just, y'know...know some stuff. Weird, scary stuff!...

One more thing: My name and IP were "disallowed" at underthingie-dot-whatsit too. It's not because he wanted me banned. More like incompetence, if you will -- it's how he was banning the constant spambots*. Everybody gets that message. Nobody was particularly singled out.

*I was doing spambot deletions at http://www.aftermathrpg.com/forums.php recently too -- we couldn't keep them out without keeping EVERYBODY out. The regular test, "type the letters exactly as you see them," didn't actually work, so nobody could pass the test

"Axes?" I think I meant "hatchets." "Bury the hatchets."

Yeah, that sounds right.
