Where do I go to find local players on the internet?
I live in Wisconsin the birth place of D&D, and no one plays Rpg's here, they are a stuck on playing video games.
Video games screwed me out of 3 players in my games now im looking for new players to fill in the empty spaces.

Any idea's?

Speaking only for myself, I've given up trying to get FtF games going.

I play at RPOL and dream about the day when my kids are old enough to play.

But I'd be interested to hear what anyone else has to say.

And good luck to you in your quest.

meetup.com has worked okay for me. It's how I got my current Call of Cthulhu game going.

I sympathize.
Here in E. MO no one plays RPG's at all.

(I suspect that they were swiftly and tacitly banned when the Religious Right pressured officials and local booksellers in the very early '80s to keep them off the shelves. I have had to smuggle a few PDF's in via internet. If they find out I may be singled out as an example and burned at the stake! :) ) In a town 45 min. away there is a brick&mortar hobby store, but whenever I am there the store is closed. :? It's hard being a RPG Freedom Fighter!
