Why doesn't Gary have a website?

You can talk about "almost" anything here.

Why doesn't Gary have a website?

Post by Lance Hawvermale »

I know the last thing he needs is one more project, but you'd think he'd have a site. Or is the Lejendary Adventure site his "home site"?

Just wondering.

He used to have a cool one called www.garygygax.com with a virtual tour of his fantasy home and all that stuff. It dissappeared a few years ago.

He lost the www.gygax.com domain then got www.egarygygax.com IIRC, then lost that domain, and I think gave up on the whole web site thing. There may have been another domain or three in the mix that I've forgotten about, too....

He stopped when he determined that having a web site was basically only for reasons of vanity. I don't necessarily agree, but that's what he said.

Lejendary.com is actually a fan site. Unfortunately the forums were hacked some time ago and thousands of posts were lost. The forums are more or less dead now.

You can dig up most of the old gygax.com site by doing a search on archive.org. I was actually able to get the beta rules for Lejendary AsteRogues that way! :)
