... and I think that, in this particular forum, I don't really need to say any more than that. :D

And I have purchased my hardcover as well. Beyond dice, pencils, paper and OOP AD&D products, this will be the first new RPG product I have purchased in 6 years.

Glad I could be involved.

I'm not paying for it unless it has the historical commentary and designer's notes. :P

Cool. I'll look forward to perusing your copy at a future game-session (assuming there's no way it could show up in time for this Sunday's session).

(holding off until I can get a copy for "free" -- only 290-something to go!)

Hardcovers are slow to ship. I would expect about 2 wks before it arrives. The softcover on the other hand is more like 2 -3 days.

On that subject, though, all of my submissions (all, umm, 4 of 'em) were done with OD&D stats and the editors converted them to 1E/OSRIC format, so I'm planning to eventually post the original OD&D versions on the appropriate board -- they're about 98% the same as what's in the book, mostly the differences are just formatting, but I figure it'll be a fun extra for our resident OD&D fans.

And historical fact #2: all of my illustrations were done on the back of cocktail coasters down at my local Hooters while I was getting wasted. If you look closely at the sewer thug you can even see the ring from my beer . . .

Okay, that was a lie, but it would have been fun if it wasn't!
