I can't stand all these new AD&D-ish products!

You can talk about "almost" anything here.

That's right, all the new OSRIC, PPP, and otherwise 1e-ish compatable game products that have come over the last six months are driving me nuts,

Why?

Because I haven't had a chance to buy any of them.

Quit my job, had a baby, got a new job, moved, and now trying to make two mortgage payments (old house hasn't sold yet) and budget for the holidays while simultaneously making a few improvements to the new house, getting my daughter into pre-school, etc., etc., etc.

Game products have been pretty low on the totum pole in terms of purchases lately.

Shortly after the holidays, though... I will begin to put my money (which I have substantially more of, with my new job) where my mouth is in terms of supporting AD&D-ish game products.

RA---

Some of the print products are rapidly going OOP, unfortunately (RJK's CotSK only has about 40 copies left IIRC, the Goodman 12.5 AD&D conversion is gone, etc.), so hopefully you'll still be able to nab copies when you're freer.

Yeah, I'm pretty dissapointed about missing out on the Goodman mod.

The good news, though, is that it seems that product is continuing to hit the market.

True, and you can definitely buy the Goodman .pdf, too.

There's always PDFs, or Ebay.

I'm never too worried when I miss something, because I can always get it secondhand. In fact, sometimes I have to.

So far I’ve bought most all of the OSRIC products in PDF form. :) The only one that I’ve gotten to read however (other than the maps) is Dungeon Hazards. :(

Everything I’ve seen is good and useable and I really liked Dungeon Hazards, however the entree for Special Attacks and Special Defense are missing for Baphomet’s Saliva. :? Other than that its all thumbs up! :D

My promised post-Holidays mini-splurge is beginning.

I bought (and received) Rob Kuntz's Dark Druids 2e. I haven't had a chance to look at it yet. When I do, I'll probably review it on the DF board.

My next targets are Goodman's Iron Crypts in .pdf, Myth's module hopefully in print, and then Rob's two print modules. Then it's on to delve into the rest of what OSRIC has to offer.
