It's just confusing with all the PDFs and pre-orders. Are any of those actually print products that are available? Thanks.
Pod Caverns is in print and can be ordered.

Red Mausoleum will be in print (and can be preordered) but it hasn't been printed yet. It probably will be out in print within a month.

The two Ronin Arts adventures are print-on-demand, that is, you order from Lulu, they print you up a copy and send it. I'm not sure if Smuggler's Bane is up on Lulu yet, but Mites" Lair is available.

Same with the Ronin Arts Hazards book; you order it and Lulu prints and ships it.

I think that's all of the OSRIC products that are available in print. All of the above are also available in pdf, of course.

JimLotFP over at DF is taking preorders for an adventure as well, but I don't have it listed because it's not available in either print or pdf yet (I put things on my list only when the resource is actually available).

It is indeed up on Lulu. I was holding off on an order till it was available.

Okay, I think I've got it. The print products that you can purchase or pre-order currently include:

Just looking at the covers, it's pretty neat how basically three different generations of TSR designs are represented! Regards.

There's my review of Dragon Fiend Pact.

As you can see from the thread, I eventually concluded that the module wasn't good enough to be worth the effort of conversion.

Is Insect Shrine the only OSRIC or new 1E product that doesn't look like an old TSR module? (and is in black and white? hehe)

Well, Jim, that looks like some decent cover art. I assume you're going to want to frame it with some sort of design, though.

As far as it being black and white, that is no problem. The Rogues Gallery did it by doing the shadings in blue with a few hard lines in black, and that looks good.

Let me know when you have a completed cover and I'll add it to the post. Regards.

Edit: I played around with it and put a modified version of just the art in as the cover for now... See if you like it. ;-)

Nope. That is the cover, all done. Black and white, no logos, no text. Back cover will be blank except the "signature" at the bottom with the hand-numbering, title, and author/artist names. (I even got permission from the OSRIC folks to have the required text inside the cover.) It won't even be a cardstock cover, as that would add another 1.70€ just to postage costs outside of Europe and I already think I'm charging quite a lot for a first-time effort.

I have some ideas for the next project to upgrade the presentation but that doesn't include color or having anything on the cover besides artwork.

Is the paper going to be 8.5x11 in or is it a European paper size? The proportions of the piece don't look like the American standard (or it might be my eyes..)

Produce it in proper English English on A4 paper! Don't pander to Americans just because they have to be special with their paper sizes and their spellings!

So it's about 5-3/4" x 8-1/4"?

Restarted D&D gaming after 20 year hiatus by running DCC #1 Idylls of the Rat King.

I didn't like it. Taken as a whole, the dungeon is basically linear with a "boss monster" blocking the passage to each level. As a 3.5 work, it is finely crafted to not kill any PCs and ensure that if they start at level 1, they'll be level 3 by the end. After defeating the main villain, my players actually said "that's it? he's the great evil force?". blech.

Worries me a bit, isn't the author, Jeffery Quinn, doing the Blackmoor Dungeon re-vamp?

Mysterious Tower *reads* better, but I have not played it. I can imagine a PC actually dying in that one.

I have about 15 of the DCC D20 modules. I went that direction from the standard 3E stuff that was out at the time because I liked the 'old school' feel of the adventures. It was soon after that that I realized it was still a poor substitution (no offense to GG) for the real thing. Not long ago I went totally back to 1E. Maybe DCC was a stepping stone.

I also have the 1E DCC conversion on preorder and hope that its half as cool as Pod Caverns or Cairn of the Skeleton King. Since OSRIC came out I am bolstered in my quest to not look back from 1E. Much good material out and coming out to support 1E - kudos to those who are making this happen. :salute:
