James C. Boney, Joseph Browning, Andrew Hind, Alphonso Warden are the authors listed. There are a lot of monsters I converted from 3e open sources to 1e as well.

Advanced Adventures #10: The Lost Keys of Solitude is an OSRIC(TM) module designed for 6-8 adventurers of levels 6-10, written by Joseph Browning & Suzi Yee.

While traveling through the foothills of the Garvain Mountains, your party found refuge for the night in a hermit's cave. In the morning, you wake to find the hermit and all his possessions gone, all except for two golden tiles: one embossed with the image of a bull with his hrons down and ready to charge, the other a tiger poised and ready to pounce. When the tiles are placed next to each other so that the bull and tiger face one another, the embossed images move, fusing the two pieces into one. The newly created image is the bull and tiger locked in combat. The fused piece is easily separated, and when separated, the images of the bull and tiger return to normal. Beside the two golden tiles lies a crudely-drawn map of the area with a path marked through valleys and passes ending at an "x" labeled "Solitude."

What terrors or treasure could be found in Solitude?

Hey Joe,

Are you going to have copies of the new XRP monster book available at your booth at Gen Con, either in softcover or in hardcover? I know at least two DM's that want to get copies of the hardcover version.

I'm picking up an OSRIC manual from the online store ... but I was just wondering why the hardback is $98? Is there any way to lower that price or does it have to do with difficulty of making it vs. # of people ordering it?

But yeah I read the .pdf and this stuff is great! Hats off to those who made OSRIC happen!!

There is a $28 hardbound, too. It contains the exact same text and pagination as the $98 version. The only difference is the expensive edition has green pages separating the chapters, and green ink for the headings. It looks nice but I would be happy putting up with black & white and grayscale and pocketing the $60 difference.
