Quick heads up; Advanced Adventures #9: The Lost Pyramid of Imhotep, appears to be available in pdf.

Lately I have been having difficulty getting print versions of these in my local stores (one manager claims they are not even appearing on the release sheets, and the other that they are not in the system), so it looks like I am going to have to wait to make an order through Noble Knight Games.

Just a reminder that today (April 9) is the last day to get BHP's "People of the Pit" module at the special price!
See a few posts up for the details. :)

Holy hell! I haven't been following this thread for a few months, and I didn't even know People of the Pit existed. It is just the thing I wanted to see from old school publishers, and I plan to pick it up soon (preferably bundled with Obregon's Dishonor - also planned for April, I hope).

Sure. We are hoping to have Obregon's Dishonor ready before the end of the month.

Thanks for the rapid answer, Coleston! 'Tis probably for the better that I will have to wait some time before placing an order, since I am very involved with a Papers&Paychecks campaign right now... :?

Yea! A fan!

The text of the adventure "Obregon's Dishonor" is done and I've already received the first round of errata & corrigenda from the proof-readers. I'm awaiting some interior art and then I do believe we're ready to roll!

Cover layout is done, maps are drawn and keyed, a beta layout of the adventure text is complete. Just a few more tweaks ...

The Lost Pyramid of Imhotep is An OSRIC(tm) module designed for 4-6 adventurers of levels 4-7 and written by Alphonso Warden.

Several months back, a small boy from the village of Ab-Amon happened upon a buried column while playing out in the surrounding desert. He reported to the village elders that the column bare strange and frightening symbols that he, in his youthful exuberance, insisted were curses. While they lacked the ability to translate the ancient hieroglyphics, they did realize that such a design, a cartouche, was used to spell out the name of the pharaoh along with all of his royal titles. Perhaps, just perhaps, the local wizard who studied the pillar reasoned, the pillar could be linked to the tomb of the master architect Imhoptep, whose final resting place has never been found.

Thanks again to the creators of OSRIC. :)

Jeff Womack did the cover, although I'm an idiot and put Bradley McDevitt as the artist in the book. Sorry Jeff!

Great news!

I think I can figure out the differences between the various editions, except one. What is the difference between the black & white hardbound and the "economy" edition?

Is it soft-bound? Is so, what is the difference between it and the paperback edition?

The economy is soft-bound and uses a different grade of paper than the paperback edition.
