Fri 7-12: Chainsaw AS&SH (Brazen Bull)

Sat 7-12: Chainsaw AS&SH (Brazen Bull)
Are both those Brazen Bull sessions a fresh restart or are they a continuation of the previous session?

Also, does anyone know if Jeff is running anything this convention? I looked and didn't see anything.

Fresh start, thanks for asking.

He couldn't make it this year, unfortunately.

I submitted Henry's kids-only game this morning for him, a redux (and expansion) of his Underground Mansion levels from last year:
A kids-only event, DM'd by Henry Grohe---an 11-year-old Dungeon Master. Explore the Underground Mansion, a multi-level mega-dungeon created by Henry for kids who have rarely or never played AD&D 1st edition before, or who are veterans of many a campaign. Henry's dungeon is set in the World of Greyhawk on an uncharted island in the Nyr Dyv, the Lake of Unknown Depths. The players will explore an Underground Mansion inhabited by monsters, as well as a few humans and demi-humans---most are deadly, some (perhaps) friendly. Various traps, tricks, and other strange encounters will also surprise the players and their characters. The lucky will escape the Underground Mansion with good loot---but the unlucky may never return! Your dice will determine you fate! :D If the players are unfamiliar with mapping, Henry will map the dungeon on the table's large battlemat. Henry will provide pre-generated low-level characters, dice, miniatures, and all other materials required to play the game.
That'll be on Saturday from 1-5pm or 9am-1pm as an alt time.

Hopefully Doug can get it added in time for registration tonight!

Allan.

Registration was a breeze last night. My plan:

Wednesday (5 June)
1500ish. Arrive at hotel
????-???? Open gaming, socializing, etc?

Thursday (6 June)
1200-1800 Hobby Shop Dungeon (Gygax)
1800-2400 K&KA Social (tbd)

Friday (7 June)
0800-1300 Spider Goddess (Me)
1900-2400 Brazen Bull (Chainsaw)

Saturday (8 June)
1000-1600 Buried Under Black Ice (EOTB)
1800-2400 Tomb of the Sea Kings (Austinjimm)

I wasn’t terribly interested in the Hobby Shop Dungeon but a friend of mine is flying in and thought playing with a Gygax was a must (he’s in the social, as well, and is a good fit though not someone who pays any attention to blogs or boards).

Looking forward to it!

Looks like AD&D events continue to set the pace for sign-ups and sell-outs.

Advanced: it's what people really want, and what choosy DMs choose to run.

Got my schedule and that for my son and his friend settled last night.

I've got the following:
Thu Night Social
Fri AM Operation Machete!
Fri PM --Open--
Sat AM Buried…Black Ice
Sat PM Brazen Bull

My son and his friend have:
Thu 3 PM War Pigs
Thu Night --Open--
Fri AM Operation Machete!
Fri PM Zenopus
Sat AM Buried…Black Ice
Sat PM --Open--

Allan, two of my younger kids (11 and 9) are very interested in Henry's game on Saturday. I'm not setting them up in TableTop Events, etc., but there's definitely at least 2 additional players if he still has openings come Convention time.

Looking forward to throwing dice again with you Knaves!

That shouldn't be a problem, Chris: Henry has 10 pregens that will be available for the game, and the event is only set up for 8 registered players, so you can plan for your two children to play no problem.
