The question is, is he more annoying as Wesley crusher or as himself?DungeonDork wrote:MageInBlack wrote:I like watching Wil Wheaton's Tabletop though. Can't stand his pretentious smug face. He is the physical embodiment of fingernails on a chalkboard.

Yeah, I don't know anything about Wil Wheaton (except perhaps that his character never went anywhere exciting on STAR TREK) but the WALKING DEAD guy is totally annoying on that follow up talk show. Right now, I feel like WALKING DEAD has plateaued harshly but my daughters were ready to watch "TALKING DEAD" after every episode. I put up with his vapid sci-fi references and easily ignored it until one night the kids just started mocking his little asides. The highlight was when one of them said where did Chris Hardwick get that from? THE GRANDPA'S GUIDE TO R2D2? I almost spit.T. I don't need no damn card to hide behind. I'll just speak up and express my displeasure with a situation.Falconer wrote:
Fandom is full of pathetic losers, who despite their castigation of "normies" "not getting it", crave validation more than anything. So when somebody like those two come along, and give them the "THAR JUST LIKE US!!!" feels, all of fandom lines up in a virtual circle jerk to praise them. Advertisers note this, and start cashing checks.T. Foster wrote:How did Wil Wheaton and Chris Hardwick become the ubiquitous spokespeople for every aspect of nerd/geek culture?
