Over in the thread @ http://knights-n-knaves.com/phpbb3/view ... =2&t=15313 I asked Keith:

Speaking of Keith Projects, while I was digging through some Gaming Frontiers and Campaign Magazines, I found a reference to a piece you did in Gaming Frontiers #4: "Tropical Island Mythology".

So naturally I checked out your RPGgeek entry @ https://rpggeek.com/rpgdesigner/37752/keith-sloan and found several more titles of yours that I didn't know about (all pre-XRP seemingly):

The Pyramid of Gorsh
AD&D First Edition (1e) Compatible Products
Old School Reference and Index Compilation (OSRIC)

Keep on the Borderlands: The Expansion
AD&D First Edition (1e) Compatible Products
Old School Reference and Index Compilation (OSRIC)

Foray into the Wilderness
AD&D First Edition (1e) Compatible Products
Old School Reference and Index Compilation (OSRIC)

Cloud World of Arme
AD&D First Edition (1e) Compatible Products
Old School Reference and Index Compilation (OSRIC)

What can you tell us about these? :D

(And if you prefer I move them to another thread, I'm happy to do so, too).

Allan.

Those four are ancient crap (to put it mildly) that Kramer published under his Adventures in Middle School project. Basically, they're adventures I wrote in Junior High around 1980-81. He publishes stuff like that as a lark. None of those are really worth more than a chuckle. They're also free on RPGNow and related sites.

I did four articles that were accepted by Gaming Frontiers. One was a fiction piece set in Freeport; another was a generic fantasy short story (which I am rather fond of). The other two were Deities and Demigods style articles on Hawaiian mythology. Unfortunately, the latter story and article were accepted but I was never paid for them as the magazine soon folded.

I also have a fiction piece in the Scarred Lands Anthology paperback published in 2002 -- that was cool as I was in the UK after it came out and ran across it in a bookstore in London. I had a few other short stories published, but mostly unpaid work (except comp copies of magazines).

In addition to the two modules already out, XRP bought my Forgotten Grottoes of the Sea Lords after Garycon...not sure when it will come out.

I had no idea all that stuff was captured somewhere. I had wanted to be a writer at one point, but I got too busy with real life to pursue it seriously. Interestingly, the best paid bits I ever did was the (actually paid) fiction piece in Gaming Frontiers #2 ("A Sailor's Tale") because it was set in Freeport and Green Ronin matched the magazine's payment! I also got paid quite well for a story set in Hodgson's Night Land that was purchased by the website of the same name (it was supposed to be included in a hardback anthology but never was, sadly).

1981? Holy Shit! Let me guess on how these modules go then...

ROOM 1: 3 Giant Rats guarding a +10 Two-Handed Sword (Tiamat Slayer).

ROOM 2: Nothing.

ROOM 3: Shelf with every potion in the DMG.

ROOM 4: Robot Tiamat (sleeping) guarding 1,000,000 Gold.

ROOM 5: Trap! Turn To Dust. No Save.
