Angel has always had a need for speed (he builds custom race cars, and was always into such things, even when we were in high school in Japan. He was into drifting on the mountain roads, back then).

That big guy is probably descended from domestic hogs. Most feral pigs that size are.
Truth. You can tell by the tusk development, which is much greater in boar.

Ah, and to think a day's fun used to be measured by going out into the wilderness with long spears, and seeing which of the two of you would end up a meal for the other.

Giant Hogs were one of the original D&D dungeon encounters, being found on the 3rd Level of the Monster Level Tables in Vol 3 of the LBBs.

And they were found in both the Greyhawk and Blackmoor dungeons:
