I'd also recommend Shadowbrook Manor as a fun entry level adventure. It's specifically for Labyrinth Lord, so B/X. But it's kind of an approachable haunted house that has enough baubles and shiny to keep a party engaged for a couple of sessions.

I ran it for my 3 daughters a couple of years ago, and we try to stock copies in the Black Blade booth, for when someone needs an entry point adventure.
