Feliz Navidad! I have to say that because I'm in Mexico. ;)

Just picked up The Witcher trilogy on Steam for 70% off (so $22 for all 3 games), plus NFS Hot Pursuit (the new one, not the one from '98 or so), and a few others. Gotta love the Steam Winter Sale + a gift card :D

A merry Christmas to one and all!

The boy woke us at 5:30am (approximately ninety minutes after I went to sleep) and was mightily impressed with the train set running through the presents around the Christmas tree. We used Skype to share Christmas morning with my father, mother, and sisters, in England. Being Japan, I had a class to teach in the afternoon, but I was back in time to have Christmas dinner in the evening (which would not even have been Christmas morning for those of you on the west coast of the United States of America). A great Christmas so far, regardless!

Do you have to say it twice as well? (check the second post of this thread) :D

Very nice. My children are all past the age of this kind of holiday magic, but I recall it fondly. Enjoy his delight!
...I was back in time to have Christmas dinner in the evening...
Christmas dinner retains its enchantment, even for old farts like me. My wife made a glazed ham, deviled eggs, green beans, homemade bread, and mashed potatoes. Delightful. For some reason, the ham tasted especially good this year. (I made a point of telling her this, which I find is always a good policy.) I enjoyed a ham sandwich from the leftovers, earlier this evening.

Our extended family was not around for Christmas day, but half of them are on the road to my house at this moment (and we're expecting their imminent arrival), and the other half will arrive later this week. So for us the festivities are still underway, and will (no doubt) continue through new year's day...
