GameHole con---how much old-school?

For those of you who attended GameHole this past weekend: what did you think? How does it compare to GaryCon and/or NTX in terms of its old-school vibe and presence?
When Jon and I look at conventions to consider attending as Black Blade, we've usually crunched the events numbers to try to sift out the old-school distribution within events as a proxy for the level of attendee interest in old-school products (which obviously drives our Black Blade interests as a vendor/exhibitor). It seems like GH is on the rise in terms of old-school events booked, but from a numbers POV it still looks like half or less the % of old-school events of GaryCon (which is really only ~20% old-school these days by our calculations). Due to that, and needing to prioritize and focus our old-school vacation time from our day jobs, we've still not jumped onto the GameHole bandwagon.
What's your feet-on-the-street vibe for the con? What might we be missing in our numbers-crunching-based evaluation?
Thanks for your input!
Allan.
