The first two episodes of the season were both arty "stunt" episodes. That suggests to me that even the people making the show are bored with it.

Eugene is totally going to sell out Dwight to save his own skin. Although, that could ruin Daryl's plan to personally kill Dwight.

No weird flashbacks this time. There are still too many stories all moving parallel to each other, and the amount of talking is still a little heavy, but at least the episodes seem to be improving as the season goes along. The rocket launcher death was the highlight for me. I know; I am a troubled man. :)

The Heapsters are stupid for not killing Rick.

Jesus saves, but look where it got him.

It's a show about gym teachers, pizza delivery boys and insurance salesmen living in a zombie apocalypse, so I usually try not to read more into the show than some nice action scenes and a smattering of over the top kills. That said, Daryl's truck being in just the right place at just the right time bothered me a bit tonight. Fortunately, I was still feeling impressed by the rocket kill from the immediately previous scene.

I assume they plan to turn him over to Negan for the promised reward.

The really stupid one is Rick, for trying to negotiate with a bunch of snakes who stabbed him in the back before (unless he let himself get captured on purpose as part of his "master plan" ).

Interesting to see how the TV series is making changes that weren't in the comics. I'm assuming the arc will have roughly the same ending. There are commonalities between the two. Like what Ezekiel is going through after losing so much in the first wave of attacks.

The mid-season finale continued with the stupid creativity. I guess there's too many people in the editing room. :(

Recorded it, watching now. Its worst sin is that it’s become so damn boring. Too many pompous speeches, too many lame characters, too few zombies. I think I’m done. :|
