Not that keen on the new trailer, to be honest, but still looking forward to the film.

I'm still pretty convinced that Rey is Kylo Ren's sister and that Kylo is the only one who knows it.

I also think that there's a reasonable chance that Kylo is a plant and is secretly still working for/with Luke.

Falconer mentioned somewhere the theory that Rey is Luke's sister (in a manner of speaking). She was cloned from Luke's severed hand.

"But wouldn't a clone of Luke be male?"

"Hush. This is magic Star Wars technology."

Ever since reading that, I have leaned towards and liked the idea of Rey being cloned from Luke's hand and therefore his sister.

So this person got Luke's hand and saber, kept the saber in a box in her office...

...and then sold the bloody hand to these guys?

Then they shown that scene where he is going to blow up Carrie's ship...you know...to write her out for good.

Rey is not a Skywalker. 75% chance she's nobody. 25% chance she's a Kenobi relative.
She and Kylo Ren end up together.

HIs face looked really torn in that clip.. So what's the bet on "Does he pull the trigger or not"?

I hope the sequel trilogy doesn't end up being:

Episode 7: The Death of Han Solo
Episode 8: The Death of Princess Leia
Episode 9: The Death of Luke Skywalker

That seems quite likely.

It would certainly lay the ground work to turn things over to the 'new generation' very well..
Something the novels had major issues with.

Conan never had to pass the torch, nor did Buck Rogers or Tarzan or Batman or James Bond. Why should Luke Skywalker? At least in terms of the old novels, I don’t see the ‘major issue.’
