Glad to hear it!

No power at the house, and I just got power back at my office. Lots of branches in the yard, but I cleared that this morning. My mom lost five trees, but none of them hit her house. My sister in Jacksonville was also largely untouched by the storm. The main thing is we are all fine. Thanks for all the expressions of concern. :)

We came through it a little battered but generally OK. Shitload of the back woods are now in our back yard in pieces. Lost a little of the front eaves. We were without power for 46.5 hours (but who's counting, eh).

Just hope Jose follows all current models and spins out to sea.

All in all, for getting socked by a frickin' hurricane, not bad! Glad you guys are okay.

Glad everyone's safe and sound, if still recovering.

Negative.
The DUNGEON MASTERS GUIDE City of Brass cover is good and bad at the same time. While its very representational of a high level adventure, it sends a clear message to the dumb: Satan is going to cornhole Miss USA with a big red member and theres nothing science or the military can do about it. - Gene Weigel

Ska has logged in in the past day or two. Not sure if I can only see that because I’m a moderator, but under the circumstances it would seem reasonable to share the fact that he is alive. (Or has been hacked.)

Clearly, there's now an epidemic of hacking occurring in obscure game discussion boards. I blame Equifax, bubble-gum cards, and the wireless.

Axemental was clearly hacked by the pod people months ago. How else to explain him skipping the K&K Social for a trip to Canada?

Canada? I heard he traded in all his d&d books and started Steely Dan cover band.

In all seriousness, I hope he's okay.
