Wyrm works map packs

Post by garhkal »

Anyone else remember this group from the early-mid 90s, Wyrm Works (tm) that created multipack map sets for use in pretty much any Fantasy RPG.
If so, do you know if they still MAKE those map packs??

It sounds like per http://tomeoftreasures.com/tot_nontsr/w ... s_main.htm that WW content was picked up by another company, but that company seems defunct atm.

There were a number of pre-made maps publishers BITD, and Wyrm Works was just one of them. I wasn't terribly impressed by their stuff, FWIW, garkhal. I have one of them somewhere here in my office (which I've been organizing yet again), will post some more thoughts when I re-find it.

tbh randomly generated maps are typically as good as anything some "map pack" company is willing to sell.
