Knightriders (1981) is actually my favorite Romero. I wrote a bit about it: The Once and Future Romero

I stumbled across Knightriders on HBO by accident sometime in the early 80s and absolutely loved it. I was talking with my wife about it not too long ago because of "The Kingdom" on The Walking Dead - how it was funny that a show that was already based on a rip-off of one George Romero movie doubled down by adding in another one :)
