Knights & Knaves Alehouse

Probably something of my own. Not sure yet if you have any suggestions or interests!

Dungeon stuff. 1st level. Possibly with hirelings and men-at-arms, especially if there won't be that many people at the game. Do you usually use encumbrance and/or morale rules?

Not to step on Welleran's Wednesday, but I'll be bringing up my 1st keyed level of the Twisting Stair dungeon map for off-grid play, so in addition to Welleran's Wednesday, there will be other low-level treasure grubbing possibilities available later. (Just dont read those parts of the board until after the con, or if you already have try to forget )

I didn't register to play in or run on-grid games this year (well, outside of the social) so my con is about bringing up a fair amount of stuff to run and seeing who is looking for a game.

I’m planning on playing with EOTB Saturday some time!

Most of my better stuff is mid level 5-8 or thereabouts). I expect there’ll be a fair number of people...I’ll have two of my peeps in tow! I’ll look over what I have this weekend and pick something, preferably something not many have seen.

Do you want to find additional gamers privately, or do you plan to post your game on the official con board or some combination of the two? I am guessing you could round up several participants for Friday through Sunday games just from the social.

In future years I'll probably pre-arrange off grid sessions to establish a floor of people, with walk-ups welcome. But that would be before registration, so that people can pick/choose.

This year I really didn't think about running off-grid stuff until people had already registered officially. So I plan on running informally. If a handful of people want to play then I'll post in this thread where we're at, and anyone can come join at their leisure.

I must admit I've always much preferred playing characters starting at 1st level whenever possible. It just doesn't feel right otherwise.

Woo hoo! Almost here, can't wait for Wednesday!!!

I'll be looking to fill Friday day and Saturday night if anyone is running anything off-grid and has room for one more.

Jon and I will be arriving on Wednesday, probably by mid-afternoon, but we may not be able to begin setting up the booth until Thursday morning (the exhibitor hall booth is booked through 9pm on Wednesday night, and it'll need to be cleaned afterward too).

So, we may be open to some Wednesday gaming!
