What did Gary Drink?
I remember seeing a video clip of Gary at a convention, sipping a drink as he ran his game. Does anyone know his customary choice of poison? It's for the game Steve R. & I are putting together for the KnKA Social.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I wasn't away that EGG drank alcohol.
Perhaps you should invent an D&D-appropriate cocktail and call it something like Dragon's Blood, or Carrion Crawler Ichor, or Succubus Spittle.

Re: What did Gary Drink?
I once sent Gary a case of red wines, porters, etc. from San Sebastian Winery here in FL, he was quite taken with them (mostly dessert and heavy dinner wines).
I can tell you which ones as you like.

I vaguely recall him mentioning on one of the various forum Q&As that he liked Bombay Sapphire gin

I thought I heard somewhere that he drank Scotch on the rocks. Hmmm.T. Foster wrote:I vaguely recall him mentioning on one of the various forum Q&As that he liked Bombay Sapphire gin
Re: What did Gary Drink?
He enjoyed a wide variety of drink. In the ENworld threads, he mentioned several beverages , including what to pair them with food-wise, and even what time of the year would be best to drink them.
I think Luke said something along the lines of "Dad preferred Bombay Saphire, but being Swiss (therefore frugal), he generally settled for Beefeater or Gordon's".

Sounds like an opportunity for a random table!

Anyone know where that thread might live? If I get some time later I will look for it.francisca wrote:In the ENworld threads, he mentioned several beverages , including what to pair them with food-wise, and even what time of the year would be best to drink them.

Here's a representative post, responding to our own Francisca, naturally.

Re: What did Gary Drink?
A worthy topic! Particularly since Rise of the Dungeon Master came out yesterday.
Here's a Gygaxian mixed drink he gave the recipe for on the Gygax Games mailing list back in 2005:
