Those tables were for AD&D. For OD&D I've always used my one page character creation cheat sheet. This year we're running characters of levels 6-8. If you want to roll a few ahead of time, here's a tweaked version of the cheat sheet for this year's game:

The cheat sheet references the Planet Eris rules (for most character stats) and Monsters & Treasure (for character magic items). The Planet Eris house rules, if you need them, are here:

I know I've downloaded the char gen tables before, but for some reason I thought they were for OD&D. I guess because your home game is based on OD&D. Of course I don't mind being wrong!
