Hangovers just pay homage to the gods of the Alehouse. It's how we keepers of the faith pray for our day's spells.

Hahah! Hang in there, man. Never been there myself, but I have heard that it passes in time.

@TRP - Looking forward to playing that dungeon next year.
@Matthew - Great combo!

Eat something carby, drink three glasses of water and go back to bed. :D

Or, go slam a couple Four Lokos and plow through it!

Plowing through it like a boss. I have to go to Lake Geneva today for touristy stuff. No rest for the wicked.

Switching to coffee, water and bagel, on the advice of my esteemed colleague.

Spent some time in London for work...

Do not attempt buy anything on this street unless your idea of a good deal is £3,000 loafers

Different street, very cool store. Too bad this circa 1580-1590 sword's £195,000. Even with the depreciated pound, it's still too expensive. Same with the much older helmet.

Finally, a spot that sells something I can afford

Life on Mars and a steak/ale pie and chips

Great sign in front of a different pub. At the moment I still qualify for service.

Point of my trip was attending the Farnborough Air Show (fyi, that is a big ass fucking ride).

Nice photos. I'd seen that airshow covered on the BBC Int'l news channel. It was apparently are really big deal.

It is.

I also saw the F-35B, demonstrating its vertical life capability in public for the first time. Hovered in one spot and rotated in a circle slowly, almost like a flying saucer, before speeding away. Pretty cool. If you have an extra $100MM and can swing clearance with the DoD, I highly recommend buying one.

I'll take two.

Or maybe just one of Sugar Creek's award winning Raspberry White.

DOD is so desperate for people to buy them they'd probably waive the whole "not actually a country" thing if you want one.

What does it take these days to claim oneself as a sovereign nation? It would be tits to cruise around in one of those, though I couldn't afford the fuel to get it off the ground even if the plane was gifted to me.

Sure, make this thread about beer!

Actually, now that you mention it, a college roommate is arriving here for a few days...he is a major beer drinker and was the guy who got me to use Untappd, so I expect to have some relevant posts very soon!
