That's what I was planning. I was responding to Chainsaw's post where he had us both with questions marks.

I can still oversee character generation, if you want. We were going to let everybody make a quick 6th or 7th level character.

Also, all beer is in the bottles (has been for a few weeks):

That's fine with me. I don't know how Jon and Donovan feel, but I would like the characters to have a fair amount of magic and stuff.

Maybe we should work out spellbooks and a list of magic items in advance?

I just found out that I may not be able to arrive until very late Thurs or even Friday morning, but I won't know until probably the week of the convention. If someone can take my spot now that's probably ideal because we'll both have certainty, but at the very least I need a back up in case the timing goes against me.

I bet that we'll be just fine with only 2 DMs. If somebody else wants to volunteer for your slot, that's great, but I will be in no condition by that time of night.

In years past, trying to squeeze in 3 DMs in 6 hours, has sometimes felt a bit crowded.

So, how's this:

Hahah! Yes. Well, to be honest, thinking about it more, maybe easier for you guys to prepare your material if you know the time expectation. Probably better for me to bow out and keep things simple. Plus what Jimm said about crowding.

It's always good to have more people prepared than there are slots. You never know if someone is going to get sick, or have travel issues, etc.

I wouldn't discourage anyone from preparing something to run, even if we think we have more than enough.

Sorry if I'm the A-hole, but I'd much rather hear-- I have a scenario. It's solid. And I will run it come Hell or high water. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
