They finally posted something on Saturday.

"The Gary Con website is currently down for maintenance but will be back shortly with all the latest updates!"

I'm not entirely convinced by their new IT department.

It's fairly standard procedure to perform several days of downtime maintenance on an event's website about two weeks prior to the event.

I think I leveled up. I'm harder to surprise, at any rate.

While my Spite Well is infinite, my give-a-fuck bucket is finite.

As long as I get to game with the regulars here and the AS&SH forums (you know who you are), I'll continue to go. But if registration continues to be a trainwreck, and if there is insufficient open gaming (like the 10 fucking tables they have "planned" for this year) for me to game with you guys, I'm not going back.

I said all along that last year was a probabtion year, as I thought attendance would skyrocket. Last year turned out great. This year, I'm only there saturday night until monday morning. If it turns out to be the shitshow that it is shaping up to be...I will be rethinking future attendance.

Rich, with your permission I'm combining those and giving out a Bucket of Spite in the next "treasure" haul.

Also, the site's back up.

I think the Crazy Cosmic Space Clowns just got another balloon to throw in Moebius Maximus:

Balloon of Spite: +1 to CM, you must attack all that you can in your turn within reason (like not running over known hazards, like through a block, near a singularity, etc.), but when feasible you must attack as much as possible while under its influence.

The site now has a link for the DM to see who is in what game. The link is on the My Account page and seems to work ok.

Thanks for the tip!

I had thought they said that they were going to make forum names available so that we could contact the players, but whatever. At least nothing is actually on fire. That I know of.

Hey, gizmo, my DM's listing for my Thu. afternoon AS&SH game still has you on the roster. Did you tell me you couldn't make it? It's a good lineup: lige, capitalbill, Jason Cook (Dungeons Deep), two of the guys from my group. One of us! One of us!

Handy, in my calendar I have that ticket going to Andrew (one of your crew?).

The tickets I'm not using but giving to folks are still in my name in the listings but I'm handing off to them when we run into each other.

Oh, also, Welleran, the role of "Mike H." in your Friday morning Desert Shrine game will be played by Kevin B. Apparently there will not be paper tickets to exchange among parties this year.

Gizmo--dur, of course. Sorry. Wasn't looking at my own spreadsheets! I will replace your name with his. In my "mind."
