Nice try! For that, you get the one-two-three punch of jagermeister followed immediately by goldschlager and then tequila.
Might as well chase it with some 4 Loko while we're at it.

Normally I think of 4Loko as a breakfast drink - you know, you go out, get super shitty, wake up half-drunk but mistakenly thinking you
dodged a hangover, so you pound a couple 4Lokos to kickstart the day because why the hell not. I'm willing to expand my thinking on this though. This
nectar of the gods, if you will, may have broader applications.
grodog wrote:we should try to all go out to dinner one night, too: we did that a few years ago at
Popeye's downtown in Lake Geneva (the hotel ferried us back and forth in their big van), and we had a great time. I've also eaten at the
Next Door Pub a few times, and their pizza is excellent.
I'd be open to eating elsewhere too, of course

(Breakfast at
Daddy Maxwell's in nearby William's Bay is also quite good, if anyone wants to get up early one day!).
Completely agree. Had a good time at the Next Door Pub and Popeye's back in 2011. Plus, getting off campus for a bit can be nice.

Well, I submitted 3 qualifying heats for the Circus Maximus Finals.
Thursday noon-4pm
Friday 8am-noon, 2pm-6pm
----------------------------------
Do long for the roar of the crowd as you whip your team to a frenzy?
Does your pulse quicken as you step from the blood stained sands onto your chariot?
Can you run down your fellow drivers as they lay before you?
Then come one, come all to participate in a qualifying heat for the Saturday Circus Maximus Finals. No experience necessary.
Top three surviving drivers move onto the finals.
The Advanced Rules will be used.

Crikey! The slots went fast this time! I tried for the Friday night Hyperborea with Jeff and it was full within seconds. Happily, got everything else. My schedule:
Thursday
1000-1400 Witch Mounds (DMing)
1400-1800 Viking Assault on Norm Fort (Chainmail; in the Gygax house)
1800-2400 Caverns of Thracia
Friday
1000-1400 Descent Into Vladikavkaz (DMing)
1400-1900 Bottle City (with our very own Allan G!)
1900-???? TBD (hmmm---I missed out on Hyperborea and nothing else in this slot caught my eye; no doubt I'll figure something out!)
Saturday
0800-1230 Battle of Sarn Athrad (Chainmail)
1400-1800 Black Orc Down
2000-???? Wet Works Walking

I had only one event to register for, and with a bit of patience and luck I managed to get in:
Saturday:
6:00 - 12:00 Lost City of the Elders
I saw that your Descent Into Vladikavkaz event filled up quick, Keith. And Grodog's Bottle City events filled up whilst I was in the refresh mode on my shopping cart!

Both my games are already full. That's certainly a record. Methinks it'll be a busy year!

Hey, on the bright side, almost every one of the Pathfinder games has either all six seats or five of six seats available (if anyone needs a game). Maybe their players' keyboards are all gummed up?

I registered for my top 2 events:
The Lost City of the Elders Rob Kuntz Thursday 6:00pm 2 Points
HYPERBOREA: Beneath the Comet Jeffrey Talanian Friday 8:00pm 0 Points
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to register for Paul's Greyhawk in Gary's basement game, since it was 1 more GP than I had available in my vendor badge. Regardless, I'll wander by to observe and check out the site, and take a slew of pictures, I'm sure

Don't they know they're on the wrong side of the tracks?

Unfortunately your events conflicted with my Aliens games, Keith. Next year....
Edit: there are still 3-4 seats open in RJK's Thursday, Friday, and Saturday games if anyone's interested.

It would be kind of fun to have an entire K&KA registered pathfinder table, and just basically insist on playing AD&D - refusing to spot check, describing our actions, rolling and calculating attacks on the tables with descending armor class, purposefully blowing up any plot they present to go off the grid and force them to improvise - etc.

Now that is a fun idea!
