Ha! Well, we sure ran our heads into the same wall over and over again...I bet Alan was sitting back, thinking to himself "who would try to scale eight tiered 500 ft sheer cliffs in a row rather than float on something downriver? Oh yeah, those guys."

I did suggest early on that we just wish ourselves to the destination.
Of course, that would have meant the adventure would have lasted about 15 minutes. Sometimes banging your head against the wall can be fun!

In photos on G+ I saw a red "game full" sign on one of the tables.
How do sign ups work?
- preregistrations?
- reg on day?
- ad hoc find a table before the bell ring, sign goes up when full?
(I co-host a local con but I've never been to another

)

I think it was preregistration, then some games weren't full so you could join at he table. There were also pick up games. Man I'm desperate to go to one of these someday. I think I like the cameos of KnKers in the pictures than the games themselves. It's great to see guys IRL as it were.

All three, sort of in that order. Online preregistations get first dibs, other people wait until game day to register at the front desk and still others just roam around looking for games about to start that don't have enough players. At game time, there's a sign on each table that's turned to something like "Players Wanted" or "Game Full" depending on the status.

Cool thanks guys. Pretty much like ours except we have no signs. We're thinking of turning responsibility over to GMs to sort out their own players online because the churn is tedious and never ending.

Luke Gygax and company do great work organizing and running this con. I've yet to have any hiccups at any point in the process. I also like how they come around and feed and water the DMs while they're busily running games. I also like how this con is small enough that you can get to know a lot of people and then see them subsequent years.
As my friend noted during Grodog's game last night, the same people tend to sign up for the same types of games, which is all the more fun.

Is it Wayne?
Also, I see Jason Azze in there.
Ah, yes, thanks Rich. One of the guys from Florida is named Wayne. Not sure if that other dude is him or not...but that might be the back of his head.

Looks awesome. Definitely something I'd like to do in next couple of years.

Cool! Is he using Mutant Future or Savage Worlds? I know there are Thundarr adaptions for a couple systems.

He wrote up a Thundarr sourcebook for MuFu on his blog and had a couple printed up to give away to us players. Definitely not for sale.
