Finished up season two, catching up on season three's first two episodes these evening. I'm excited to hear it improves - I was cheering for the zombies by the end of season two. It was about time for a TPK and to roll up some new PCs.

Edit: Season three is pretty cool so far - these guys seem to be a different crew. Like TRP said, very D&D-like episodes in the prison.

Just watching season 2. Loved the bar quick draw. Man....poor Shane, miss-understood psychopath. :D

I think the big theme of season 2 was what type of person you need to be to survive in that world. Before zombie apocalypse, Shane is your best bud. Afterwards, he needs to be put down.

Before, Darryl was the type of trouble maker that Rick arrested every day. After, he's your right hand man and vital to your survival.

Oh yeah, and... WTF!!! Severed heads aquarium!!!

Its amazing how they manage to make scary zombies (extremely well done). The one pushing its head threw the windshield when his wife crashed, pretty horrific. Or the one in the well all bloated. Ripe for a 1E trap.

The key to this show is that it takes itself dead serious. There's nothing campy about it (no laughing at itself the way you see other horror often does).

Season 2 was slow, so much so that I actually gave up on it midway through and only caught up on the second half when they aired a marathon right before the new season premiere (being able to watch them all in a row instead of spread out week-by-week helped with the pacing issues, I think) but so far, 3 episodes in, season 3 is kicking all kinds of ass. Good, good stuff!

Season three is excellent so far. As a zombie movie fan I am actually amazed at season three's very high quality.
Almost stopped watching at middle of season two but glad pushed on.

Yep, their little POS car got stuck in the mud. I guess the dealerships are still out of Suburbans, Yukon XLs and Escalades.

The look on Carl's face after Michon got 'em stuck was worth whole episode. It was a look of contempt that only a child could muster.

Everyone on this show seems to keep getting dumber and dumber. I'm ready for TPK and new writers.
